At L'atelier de Vincent, we exclusively sell used motorcycle parts from original manufacturers. Each part is inspected before being put up for sale, and its condition is indicated as precisely as possible on its product page.

Legal Guarantee of Conformity – 2 years

In accordance with articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, used parts sold to consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from their delivery.

This guarantee covers defects of conformity existing at the time of product delivery.

For a used item:

- for the first 12 months, the defect of conformity is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery;
- between 12 and 24 months, the guarantee remains applicable, but it is up to the consumer to demonstrate that the defect existed at the time of sale.

The legal guarantee of conformity should therefore not be confused with a commercial operating guarantee for two full years.

A breakdown resulting solely from the normal wear and tear of the part after its delivery does not, in itself, constitute a defect of conformity.

Similarly, the guarantee does not cover problems resulting notably from misuse, modification of the part, or incorrect assembly when these are not attributable to the product sold.

Defects, signs of wear, or specific characteristics clearly indicated on the product page and known to the buyer at the time of order cannot subsequently be considered as defects of conformity.

Please provide your order number, the part concerned, and a description of the problem encountered.

We will review your request to determine the origin of the problem and the appropriate solution.

When the legal guarantee of conformity is applicable, conformity will be brought about in accordance with the provisions of the law, particularly through repair or replacement where possible.

As some of our parts are unique used parts, an identical replacement may sometimes be impossible. In situations provided for by regulations, a price reduction or refund may then be offered.

Legal Guarantee Against Hidden Defects

Independent of the legal guarantee of conformity, the buyer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.

This concerns a hidden defect, prior to the sale, sufficiently significant to render the part unfit for its intended use or to considerably diminish its use.

Action must be taken within 2 years of the discovery of the defect.

90-Day Returns

Independent of legal guarantees, L'atelier de Vincent accepts return requests for up to 90 days, in accordance with our return policy.

Therefore, if a part matches the order and its description but ultimately does not fit your motorcycle, a return can be requested. The return shipping costs then remain the responsibility of the buyer.

All return requests must imperatively be made before shipping the part by contacting us at:

The part must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered, without modification or deterioration.

Our parts are photographed from multiple angles, and their condition is specified directly on their product page.

When a defect, particular wear, or missing element is identified, it is mentioned in the description so that you know precisely what you are buying.
